                  Poorly Designed                                                                                  Well Designed     In this week's lab, I was tasked with critiquing two maps of my choice. I had to choose a poorly designed map, and a well designed map. The maps that I chose are labeled above. I chose the map of the Manasquan watershed as the well designed map because it clearly highlights the area of focus. The watershed stands out from the lighter borders of the surrounding municipalities, the legend clearly explains the different colors and symbols, and the map of New Jersey shows where the watershed is located in the state. Computer Cartography Story Map Orientation

 This semester at UWF, I am taking a computer cartography course. For the first lab assignment, I was tasked with creating a Story Map with ArcGIS Online about me. I decided to use the university that I got my bachelors degree from, and I highlighted some of my favorite spots on campus in the map.
