Module 1 Overview of ArcGIS

For the first assignment of the semester, I was tasked with creating a basic map, pointing out major cities. Each country is also color-coded in this assignment. I had some trouble with the sizes of the points that are marking the cities, I used "circle 1" as noted in the lab procedures, but they are definitely not supposed to be as large as they are, as shown above. I couldn't find an area to adjust the size of the point symbol, and I didn't want to use a different one from what the lab procedure stated. This assignment was a bit difficult just because I have not used ArcGIS in several years. Once I explored the program a bit more and learned where things were, it was easier to navigate. I would like to work on making my maps more visually appealing and easier to read as I move through the labs throughout the semester.
